I am already using Gallery 3 on one of my pet project. Its not yet big but I like the general look of it. now I am planning for a big upscale project. It will include a lot on celebs and movies. So, I wanted Gallery to be looking some what similar to 4gallery ie showing picture sub-categories in the gallery index file like 4images does. Is there any add-on that could do that way ? I have used 4images very long back may be around 4 years back so I am not sure about how it works rite now. Would be glad to take any suggestions on this issue |

And which version of Gallery to use ? 3 or 2.x ?

Never heard of 4gallery, but if you want to change the look of Gallery 3, if you know HTML and CSS, it should be pretty simple.

oops sorry, it was 4images and not 4gallery, edited my post.
Unfortunately I know only basic commands in html and absolutely zero css knowledge

Then your best bet is to choose a theme that is already build that is close to the final result you want. Once that is done (G2 or G3) then you can ask specific questions on what you want to change and the community can help out with that.
