Long story short. Old host provider updated their OS and dropped support for unrelated software which required us to switch to a windows os hosting setup. Now that didn't help the other problem and pretty much sunk everything php related so I decided to change hosts. In doing so I've managed to get everything transferred except the .user* stuff so I can't log in as it seems to have been blown away. On top of that I believe I deleted the /setup folder after the initial install years ago. I've read all I can find on resetting admin passwords/config wizards and such. My question is, can I use the setup folder from the 1.5.10 d/l and reset my admin password or will that just muck up things more?
