E107 help with Installing Gallery 3

hi gallery community

i've downloaded a plugin for E107 called "G2" & download the newest version of your gallery (gallery 3.0.2) but i'm having trouble pointing the addon to the gallery 3.0.2

in the E107 addon i've got 2 box's...

1. g2Uri
2. Gallery2 Path (does this mean i need to download an older version of your gallery?)

anything i seem to add into these box's doesn't seem to change the link on my front page? any help would b great

gallery2 and gallery3 are two different applications.

gallery3 won't work with your application's plugin.

does it matter where i install gallery2 on my host?
