I had tried editing my album.tpl and photo.tpl under themes/carbon/template but it would not take the date and time off. This is an old thread but it helped me solve my issue: http://gallery.menalto.com/node/57589 It turns out I had to edit the date and time to "false" under my g2data/smarty/templates/carbon/photo.tpl.php and carbon/album.tpl.php files. It was the only way I got it to work. So for anyone else who may have had this problem, I'm bumping this subject in the hopes of helping someone else. |

That is incorrect.
In order to see changes in your newly edited templates, you need to clear the template cache in gallery admin -> maintenance
Your changes in g2data/smarty/templates is only going to overwritten next time the template cache is updated.
