Hi,

I was getting some 500 Internal Server Errors (Firefox & Safari) on thumb image retrieval when displaying more than 5 thumbs on screen in album views (some thumbs were not always displayed). Refreshing the page caused all images to be finally displayed. 5 was the optimum number here. See attached files.

Speaking with my hosting company they said by removing the .htaccess file in each Thumbs folder it would fix the problem, which it did. Kind of surprised me that this was the cause but it now leaves the Thumbs folder open to all who know where it is.

Any thoughts on why this should cause the 500 error and any suggestions to get this back in place to improve security? Running latest release of v3.

Thanks,

Matt

Meant to say hosting provider is 123-reg.co.uk and I'd added the unmask(0022) command to the config.php file to get it going otherwise nothing was displaying (755 is now the access level).
