Can't change language

Hi.. I'm trying to change the language of my gallery to spanish.. but nothing happens when I try to do so. My gallery URL is:

http://www.89decibeles.com/galeria/

and the version is Gallery v1.4-pl2

I'm sorry I don't know what other info I have to include here...

Does anyone what can be causing the language not to change?

Hi,

this is easy

You did not carefully configure your Gallery. Or did not read the infos in configwizard enough.
Your Gallery is in languagemode 2. Which means Gallery is displayed in the language the browser sends.
Change your browser language to spanish, or any other language to see what i mean.

To make your gallery displayed always in spain change the default language to es_ES and mode to 1 in config.php.

j'ai le meme probleme, de configuration sur le langage cat il est en anglais et je le veux en français. impossible de le mettre en place car sur la page de configuration ça me dit que :

Check to see what languages are available:: Warning! Only 28 of 29 possible languages are available. If you want the missing languages, download a fresh copy of Gallery from

i do not understand french.
But could you put your Gallery in config mode ?

Hi,

i still dont understand french !
Your System has a strange configuration.
A lot functions were disabled.
Some of them are necessary for Gallery.
shell_exec and exec.

I wonder how it was possible to upload pictures into gallery on this server.
Because it _should_ not work.

parce que votre serveur utilise IIS (pas apache), il faut suivre les instructions d'installation appropriées:

lisez ici..

vous avez les suites?
("officiellement", on ne donne pas d'assistance pour IIS)

après cela, probablement votre installation va marcher. la configuration est en français parce que votre browser prefère la langue français, puis gallery essaie de donner le page en français. si tu la changes à anglais, ça sera en anglais...

désolé... mon français n'est pas très bien.

ça dit que gallery ne va pas marcher là bas. (FAQ Gallery:c.29)

Bon voila LE VRAI PROBLEME :

Serious Warning! We were unable to detect any system locales. Multilanguage functions will be disabled. Please install the corresponding locales or ask your Provider to do this. This problem is known on Debian systems. In this case please have a look at this Debian locale HowTo

donc mon SERVEUR n'est pas configurer pour afficher les langages.

Tout à fait. Il devient donc très difficile de gérer différents langages sans cette configuration système. Gallery en l'état actuel ne pourra pas s'afficher en Français chez cet hébergeur/sur cette machine.
