I am not able to see album cover images. My webhost does not support .htaccess. How can I set up gallery to go directly to an image instead of using a redirect? Here is the gallery: http://www.midwaymarketplace.com/gallery3/ Here is an example of the path to one of the cover images: http://www.midwaymarketplace.com/gallery3/var/thumbs/Rides/.album.jpg?m=1339706635 Thank you |

That is not coming from a .htaccess file.
Your server is configured to not deliver files that start with a dot.
There is 2 open tickets that might be your issue:
https://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/gallery/ticket/1443 https://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/gallery/ticket/1455
Wait or find a new host if you can't edit .htaccess files.

Thanks for your response. If I am reading the above solutions right, you have to modify the .htaccess file. My problem is that there is no .htaccess file to edit and I cannot create one. When I called the web host, they said that I would have to find a way to get it to work without the redirect (.htaccess) or look for another gallery program.
Guess I have to look for another gallery program.
Thanks again for your help.
