Safe Mode Problem?

I have been running Gallery for years with no problems until just the other day I went to the homepage and got these errors. (I have not made any configuration changes this problem just happened out of the blue). I have read the FAQ and did see where it tells you not to run in Safe Mode but it doesn't tell you how to turn safe mode off. Why would I need to turn off safe mode if I have been running this software for years with no problems...my host says the php is fine it is a problem with my code. Is this a safe mode problem? Is it something else? Is my hosts tech support out to lunch???...please help, thank you.

Gallery does work with php's safe mode on period.

Your host has to disable safe mode.

if they refuse, get a new host.

As I said...I have been running Gallery for about 4-5 years and still on the original install. Why all of a sudden would I be getting these kinds of errors?

My host just decided to turn on Safe Mode after all these years???

yup, safe_mode is on.
You'll have to ask your host to turn it off.

In your shoes, I'll be looking for a new host whatever the outcome of the safe mode thing.

The PHP setup your php info shows is so poor and dated that it is incredible how they have managed to get paying customers.
