upload and resize without losing camera data

Is there a way to make the G3 module "MAX SIZE" re-size the uploaded photo WITHOUT removing the camera data ?
OR Is there a G3 module that will upload photographs without removing camera information?
I would rather not make the user install anything to their system to do this.
I really like the default upload module in G3 so I would appreciate suggestions that retain the use of the default uploader and re-size the photo while retaining the camera info IF POSSIBLE
