Hi,
I installed the theme yesterday on my site (had wind before for quite some time): unpacked the theme in the themes directory and the GD-module to the modules directory.
Activated them both and got a white screen ... no access anymore.
Changed the active_site_theme back to wind, Verified active_admin_theme was amin_wind in the vars and disabled the GD module in the database.
Got the DANG ... message on the screen.
versions are : Gallery 3.04, latest GD

Any idea on how to restore the wind theme again to get the gallery online again ?

I would try and install it in default g3 location, i.e. /gallery3/ instead of /foto/
otherwise, you need to go around and look for all references to gallery3

I copied the var into a new directory (yes /gallery3/), copied a fresh gallery3.0.4 into it, added the modules I used before and it works again.
Thanks for your help.
At some point in the future, I should change the theme again. Too busy for the moment
