http://codex.gallery2.org/Gallery3:User_guide:Modules:Installing_and_upgrading#How_to_install_a_module
Each module has a codex page as well that might have specific install / operation / configuration requirements.

Thank You FLORDAVE for the prompt assistance.
My problem is where do a initiate the install process. I have downloaded the register.zip file. Now what i get from the links you posted here is...

Every module has it's own folder in the "gallery3/modules" folder. Installing is as easy as uploading the module folder and activating the module
Download the module(s) you want to add to your Gallery 3 installation.
Extract the compressed archive and upload the module folder (e.g. "mymodule") to the "modules" folder in your Gallery 3 installation folder. If you are looking at your file manager or ftp client, you end up with something that looks like:
"gallery3/modules/mymodule/module.info"
It should not look like: "gallery3/modules/mymodule/mymodule/module.info" or "gallery3/modules/mymodule.zip"
Browse to your Gallery 3 page and go to "Login -> Admin -> Modules"
Select all modules you want to install / activate and click on "Update" at the bottom of the page
Important: It is recommended to install modules one by one so that one of the modules breaks your installation you will know which one it is. In case this has happened to you please scroll down to "Troubleshooting modules" on this page.

Seems OK.
Where do i CLICK on INSTALL module and then browse back to this FILE [register.zip] and then eventually go back into the modules tab[menu] and activate it if I have to.

Extract the compressed archive

Do you understand that part?

Neither. It should be like all the other module in the modules directory. like:
gallery3/modules/mymodule/module.info

No you don't extract the files there or find them.
Do you know how to extract files?

Have you ever unziped files to your computer and FTPed them to your site?
You need a FTP client or you can use your hosts control panel to find.
If you have not then I bet there is better resources to educate you on this basic of web hosting tasks.

Now that makes sense... i can get into cpanel and browse my way back...I was thinking more like CMS systems where I click here and there to upload/install plugins.

And yes, i can zip and unzip... i was just not sure where to start. Thanks alot. Let me see if i can do that. Reverting soon.

If you have better wording for the docs please make suggestions for the better of the community.
It is also a very good way to give back if you can't financially to this open source project.
