Seperate albums and tagging

Hi

I have played around with Gallery3 and really like it. Only thing I'd like to change is to have the ability to have completely seperate albums that don't share tags. ie say I have an album called Photos for family photos and tag some with Beach for our beach photos and another album for drawings and one of them is tagged beach also. If I am in the Photos album and click the Beach tag I only want to see results from Photos (and sub albums).

Is this possible?

Will I have to run multiple instances (and is this an issue)?

I've had a look through the modules but couldn't see one that would help.

Yours is quite a rare case so the multi instance would be the way to go. There is a couple of modules like the menu links module that might help combine the two.

Is there anything I should know before I start? I assume I just add the Gallery3 folder multiple times to the webserver renaming it as required and creating separate MySql databases for each one?

Yes or you can user the same DB with different prefixes.

I am still very new to MySQL (have MSSql experience though) so I think I'll run with separate databases until I've learned more.
