User & Group Import

Hi!

I have some kind of special task:

I installed Pam and configured it to authenticate the users
against our Active Directory (and create a new user account during first login).

But I have to create albums often for users that never logged
on to the gallery before.

What apis can I use to batch - create users and put them in to
predefind groups?
