how to adjust page width?

I prefer to use 800 pixels or wider but it seems Gallery likes 600.
so now my page looks bad because the photo is covering the texts on the right side:

see: http://ww3.beetography.com/index.php/Travel/Bangladesh/DSC_0682_01

how do I make the texts self adjust based on photo size, or even having them fixed but wider?

Thank,

The default wind theme is a fixed width theme. Perhaps another theme would be better?
Like the wide wind theme for example.

Thanks. I did not know there were other options.
I tried the widewind... now any photo would show 1024 pixels wide, but like 10 pixels tall!

but this (the height) was not defined anywhere....

Strange.

well, maybe my firefox was messed up. now it seems to be fine.
last night it also gave me errors for showing jpg photos but it was not due to Gallery but due to firefox.

thanks.

Not a browser issue but a resource issue on your server:

That should be a thumbnail sized image. When gallery tried to make a thumb it just died.
Try the rebuild items module and do one item at a time to lessen the resources need to create thumbnails from large items.
