Image Magick was working, then stopped. Deleted and reloaded.
Trying to Configure. Get these error messages upon Test:

I'm not experienced enough to discern what the problem is or how to fix it. Help, anyone?
Also, Gd seems to be working fine. Do I even need Image Magick?

No. but IM works better and works in a different memory space than PHP, so you will less likely run into memory limit issues.
GD shares PHP's memory and supports fewer formats.
Did you run IM's tests in gallery admin -> ImageMagick
I have an update to IM that works with newer IM builds.

while doing a fresh install of Gallery 2.3.2 I ran into the same type of problem with Imagemagick
'Identify' test failed
The debug output follows - can someone help me identify the problem? Or anything missing with my server?

try swapping /modules/imagemagick/classes/ImageMagickToolkitHelper.class with the one attached (rename it properly first)
IM changed the way it reports image formats recently.

And now.....back to square one!
I had to reinstall Gallery 2.3.2 9several times, actually....) and when trying to configure ImageMagick I get the following error - this after I did the changes indicated by suprsidr
Again, "Identify" test failed....
Can someone point me to the solution?

Make sure you are renaming my attatched ImageMagickToolkitHelper.class_.txt to ImageMagickToolkitHelper.class and delete/replace the original.
From the quoted output, my class should work, but the original would not.

Thanks suprsidr. I updated my php version to 5.3 and then "Identify" part of ImageMagick was failing when I ran "Test Settings" until I included your changes.
