Migrating between Linux and Windows host with Gallery 3

Hi folks,
New to Gallery 3 and have only been using it for a few days but have really enjoyed it so far and am learning a lot with it. I'm faced with an opportunity to move to a better hosting package at the same cost that would mean me moving from my current Linux based host to a Windows host. I'm wondering just how difficult it would be to migrate the pictures and comments I have so far over to a new hosting solution from my current Linux host. Thoughts? or just rip and replace?
