I'm trying to hide the date, view counters etc. and was show the code to edit under 'themes'. When I go to themes, I don't see any html code, so not sure how to get started. Do I need no find my Gallery2 folder on my server and open with Dreamweaver or can i edit directly by logging into the browser? |

Ok great, but where is the 'theme' folder found? I'm logged into Gallery2 as an administrator and am using the interface on the webrowser to try and make these changes. If I click on 'Themes' there is no place to make a new folder or edit html. I don't remember downloading Gallery2 Software on my machine, but maybe I did. Should I be looking for that and editing using Dreamweaver or other?

Some themes have options to show/hide owner and other info in the user interface, but the page I linked above discusses editing theme templates directly with a text editor like notepad++ (don't use crappy dreamweaver it will corrupt your files)
theme templates are located in gallery2/themes/your theme/templates
