[checkout] Display in dropdown doesn't work?

I did some searching and was not able to locate an answer to this issue, so please feel free to direct me to another thread if I missed it.

When adding multiple price points to a single item (e.g. Framed vs. Unframed), I have the dropdown option selected for the two price points. However, when selecting the item from the cart, it does not present any option and instead adds both items to the user's cart.

I have played around with the settings a bit to see if I was just missing something obvious. Also have been able to replicate in both chrome and IE.

Any ideas why I'm not getting the dropdown?
