I am having an issue with the .Pear Theme.
The issues is shown in the following screen shot.

This only seems to be a problem when using IE8. I have tested it with two different machines with XP/IE8 and got the same result. The thumbnails don't show up and when I click on the little ! in the lower left of IE it shows the error in the screen shot above.

All works well with Chrome and IE9.
.Pear is a great theme!
Just need to work out a few kinks.

I know that IE sucks, but unfortunatly there are a few poor soles using it:-(

Thanks for any suggestions you have.

But for the issue, any suggestion or ideas would be great :)

I have the same problem in my website.
I have solved the problem, you just open the file in /pear4gallery3/js/pear.js
find the 54th line slideshowImages = slideshowImages.filter(function (i) { return i != undefined});
change //slideshowImages = slideshowImages.filter
just mark it and replace it on server. That's OK.Try it.

Thank peigs.
That did work, but now I need to refresh the page to get when I first go there to get it to display correctly.
I agree with suprsidr that they should just use Chrome. I wish I could mandate that;-)
I am going to switch to pear for a while and see how it goes.

Thanks again for the response!

I was referring to Chrome Frame a little javascript snippet you include in your page that can install some of chrome's goodness for IE<9
