[SOLVED] Gallery 3.07 installer - connecting to mysql failure. Solved

Gallery is installed on Centos 6.4 minimal server.
Installer fails to connect to the mysql db.
using mysql cli with the same settings/credentials works correctly
previous gallery (non 3.07) always worked.

Is there a way to log/debug the 3.07 installer ?

Installer code did not change from the previous couple of versions.
If any of the parameters are incorrect then the installer will complain.

Selinux was blocking the installer.
