The following information is required to get an answer:
Get this information from the PHP diagnostic (in the configuration wizard).
Gallery URL (optional but very useful):
Gallery version: any
Apache version:
PHP version (don't just say PHP 4, please):
Graphics Toolkit: Adobe CS
Operating system: Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion
Web browser/version (if applicable): Safari

I have a massive amount of photography that I am seeking a solution to help me better manage, find and correctly catalog and label -- rather than randomly scattered throughout photo applications and files on my desktop. Problem is obviously when I need to source a photo or collection of photos for a topic, it take valuable time to hunt them down. Through research and based upon a number of recommendations, Gallery appears like it may be a good option for my needs.

I have absolutely no idea if this is the correct place to ask this question, but as a Mac user, will the Gallery software work on a Mac, running within a Parallels platform????

Many thanks in advance for your help!

Gallery is "Your Photos On Your Website" as so it is intended to run on a PHP enabled webserver. This is not a desktop application.

Not to say you could not run it locally on a MAMP server or similar.
