Change graphics toolkit

Hi,
can someone please help with this:
I have chosen GD as grpahics library and would like to change to graphicsmagick to be able to use the module tiffupload. Graphicsmagick comes up as an available toolkit but can't select it. Tried to rewrite gd to gm in settings/advanced under graphics_toolkit but no luck.

If the 'Activate Graphics Magic' is not a clickable button then G3 can't detect its presence. It should also say something similar to:
'GraphicsMagick version 1.3.16 is available in /usr/bin' when you go to the Admin->settings->graphics page.
