Multiple resizes

Hi,

In the old gallery I had two different resized images - one for displaying in the normal album view and another for full screen. I think it's good to have some full screen/slideshow options in terms of sizes. Increasing image size quickly increases both the bandwidth and the delay.
I see that the slideshow flash plugin is being replaced - will the new slideshow offer different resized images assuming that it is possible with gallery3.

There's no plan to do this yet, no. We'll keep with the same three sizes as before (thumb, resize, full).

What I'd suggest is changing your resize image size to something larger. For example, on my personal website, I use 1920px, which makes each resize image around ~200-300k. For normal web viewing this might be a little suboptimal (but not by much - JPG compression is clever like that), but the slideshows look great :-).

Alternatively, you can build a contrib module that maintains a fourth size for this purpose, but I don't think that'll be added to the core.
