Hi,
I wonder if anyone could help me. I’m trying to upgrade from Gallery 2.3.2 to Gallery 3.0.9 and have installed Gallery 3 alongside Gallery 2 without any problems.
The problems come when I try to import my photos into Gallery 3. When using the Gallery 2 import module I keep getting the error message - Your Gallery 2 install isn't working properly. Please verify it!
I’m using the path /home/y10beau/public_html/photos/embed.php to access the embed.php file.
Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? I’ve copied my system information from Gallery 2 and error log from Gallery 3 below. Unfortunately I’m really not an expert so I don’t know where to go from here.

Seems your g2 install is slightly corrupt:

Thanks very much for your suggestion Dave.
I've run the tool you suggested. It originally found errors and fixed them and running again since then, it has found no errors at all. However, I still get the same message when trying to import into Gallery 3.
I've tried everything else I can think of like running the tools to optimise the database and clearing the cache.
Do you have any other suggestions?

looks like you are using a path with a url
a path is /home/y10beau/public_html/
a url is http://yoursite.com/photos/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=8277&g2_serialNumber=1
make sure you use a path where a path is asked for and a url where a url is asked for

Where might a path have been entered as a URL or vica versa? I've had a look in config.php, embed.php etc and I can't see any obvious mistakes. Do you think this is the cause of the error message I'm receiving when trying to import from Gallery 2?
Just to be clear, in the gallery 2 import module, I am entering the path /home/y10beau/public_html/photos/embed.php sp I don't think the mistake is coming from there.

gallery2 only stores config info in config.php
