Slow upload on clean lamp load.

Clean load of Ubuntu 12.04 Server w/ Gallery3 with the Dragon theme. When uploading takes 2-4 min per image (5-7mb) getting 300-500mb/s, I figure I should be getting much better upload speed on my local 1gbs lan. suggestions on where to look/how to fix? |
