change user rights

Hello,
Just a quick question from a newbie:
Is it possible to set the permissions that everyone can view the albums, sub-albums and the thumbnails in it, but only registered users will be able by click a foto(thumbnail) to see the enlarged image and the original image.

Isn't it what the "View full size" permission does? From the top album remove the "View full size" permission to the "Everybody" group and it should do what you want.

your answer is correct!
But I want, that only registered user can click on a thumb to see the 640x480 image and after another click the full size image. Eeveryone should be only view the albums and thumbs, no enlargements or full size images.
I hope you can understand my bad english :-)

After reading your first post again I see what you mean but I have no idea for you.

You could shrink the size of the 640x480 images to something smaller (from "appearance" -> "theme options" in admin console) that you don't mind unregistered users to access and have the full size images only for registered users. Not exactly what you want though.
