Adding Image To Multiple Categories

Is there a module for adding an image from one category to another? Please advise. I cannot find anything. Thank you! |

Hi, Dave!
Gallery 3 already allows me to tag each photo. There is a section on the right side margin that allows the most popular tags to be displayed already. What you are suggesting is not going to enable me to create additional categories. Do you know of a module that allows one image to be added to multiple categories? That is what I am seeking. Thank you!

The above is the option I know about. G2 has the replica module that does that but there is no development planed for a similar module for G3.

I don't understand what you're looking to do that you can't do.
Is "multiple categories" not the same as "multiple tags"? Are you aware that you can add more than one tag to an image/album?
If you mean that you want a single image to appear in multiple galleries, that can be accomplished using tags and the tag_albums module @floridave linked.
I'm misunderstanding?

Maybe using the dynamic album module might help give the effect they are looking for? That way you can have different "albums" linked to different tags/categories and it would keep an image from being in any one specific album.
We would use dynamic album around holidays to create a "hot topic" album depending upon the time of year or holiday. It would pull images from all throughout the gallery even though they were not in the same real "album".
