SO DAMN SLOW... Why does My Site Load So Slow?

What do I have to do to eliminate this dang 8-10 second lag time from time of clicking an album for it to open and display all the thumbnails in the album? I've searched this site and can't find anything that helps. Ticks me off, but worse, drives my client base away.

HELP please someone.

I don't see any lag of 8-10 seconds. It is fine for me.
modules/fancybox/ is a issue according to yslow.

Really? You see a good response time? Ok, that's good to hear. I'm stationed in Korea now, although my host is stateside, but my fiber connection here is super fast. Maybe it's just getting back is my individual problem then. But, numerous members living state-side have complained also.

I'll play with disabling fancybox and see if it helps.

Just to add, no problem here as well. Seems responsive to me.
