Installing Clean Canvas standard theme

Hello all,

I want to install a different theme than the original theme. I´ve followed instructions and put the map of the theme in my Gallery 3 map, but I can´t select the theme in the admin tool.

Is there a simple tutorial to install this theme (http://codex.galleryproject.org/Gallery3:Themes:clean_canvas) on my website? I'm not familiair witn css, html or any code to build sites, so it has to be very simple :)

I don't understand 'map'.
Did you unzip the files on your computer and FTP them to the server?

Thanks for your reply. With Map I mean the folder that I unzipped to my computer. But you helped me a little, because I didn´t know I had to put it on a ftp server. Could you help me further? How can I access the FTP server and upload the theme to the right folder?

Download the theme from the link on the documentation page and extract to your themes directory.
Very basic web admin stuff. If that is difficult perhaps your host or a friend can assist.
