pam module for ldap

Has anyone had luck connecting gallery 3 to an ldap server.
I see the pam module, but haven't tried it yet.
I would like to use my current ldap accounts and the internal gallery accounts and it looks like this does it.

I don't see a ldap string in any of the documentation though. does it somehow authenticate to the localhost?

You should place the correct plugin into the plugin directory (from unused_plugins). After that you should change the parameters in the plugin directory.
