Installing a second Gallery

Hello all,
I am running Gallery2 in a subfolder of my website but I would like to install Gallery3 in a different subfolder (and keep the Gallery2 install) to host a different set of photos? Is that possible? Is it recommended? Thanks for the help.

Sure just install it in a sub-directory of your choice that is not in use.
