I set up the theme and applied it to the albums but the gallery itself is a stark white page. Any ideas on how to fix it?

I see other sites that have a styled page where it says "This is the main page of your Gallery".

Why am I not able to style this page? I can't see what I am missing...I made a folder to contain all of the albums but if you click on the Gallery breadcrumb, it takes you to that stark white unstyled page. That is the page I am trying to style, so using an album to contain the other albums is not really what I want to do.

Please help me figure out where I am going wring...I can't see how this is so difficult...I know it's something stupid on my part but after spending this much time on it I can't see straight anymore....

Thank you for trying....

SOLVED - deleted all folders...read the page source and saw where it was adding the wrong theme...copied the css from the theme I wanted and used it to replace the css in the default theme assigned....then I could track down where it was being set...then re set it to the theme that I wanted...
seems easy now but seriously a pain in the &$%*....
