sharing images with another webpages

Hi,

I have a genealogy program, geneweb, and I want to share pictures between geneweb and my photo gallery.

until now, I was uploading pictures with an ftp program into a folder and simply inserting links on the genealogy pages.
eg :
first last name
info
image birth certificate
image wedding certificate
image death certificate

can I get easily with gallery the address of the image (not the link of the gallery page corresponding) to insert it in my genealogy pages.
