G3 (3.0.9) server add hanging and empty log file

Good morning, I have got Gallery3 running with ImageMagick graphics settings (also tried GD). I am attempting to use server add to get images into the gallery, I have 20+ directories containing a total of 10k images (all under 50mb in jpg format). when I run the server add from the root it gets to scanning directory 20 and stops. if I select the first subdirectory it gets to directory number 4 and stops! I have looked in the /var/logs and the only message is as follows Quote:
2014-07-24 08:24:59 +00:00 --- error: date.timezone setting not detected in /etc/php5/fpm/php.ini falling back to UTC. I dont think this is causing the problem. What else can I check to make the server add work correctly? thanks Dan. |
