Upgrading the gallery script to latest version

I want to upgrade it to latest version.

Please tell me step by step by instructions for upgrading the gallery script to Gallery 3 (Version 3.0.9 )

It isn't an upgrade (per se); it's a migration.

Note that some who went G1 -> G2 -> G3 had issues with auto rewrites.

But, I'd assume that any rewriting you did from G1 to G2 is old news now (but maybe not?).
