I just spent 3 hours on this site and still can't figure out how to install the "gallery" to my site.
I use aspfreeserver.com, which supports PHP.
I use Microsoft Frontpage to publish my website.
I surfed around this forum and read many messages, but I don't get it.
If anyone has time to help me from starting, I'd appreciate that.
(feeling like a loser now ..) thanks.

You need actual FTP access; it would be impossible or very difficult to install Gallery using Frontpage.

Once you have that, take a look at http://gallery.sf.net/docs.php and ask any specific questions you have.

Actually not to pick a bone but you can very easily use Frontpage AND be able to install gallery. Its about knowing how front page works. Once you have downloaded gallery simply place the galley folder with all of its contents in the root directory of your website on your computer. Then on the next update Frontpage will upload the folder and all the files in it to your host server. TWO things you need to do after that. One is follow all of the insturctions provided by gallery for installation, Second make sure you tag all the gallery files in your frontpage program to "Don't Publish" and never change it back to publish or you will overwrite any changes you have made. You can change publish status by clicking view - reports - publish status.

My site is totally Frontpage driven, no actual ftp other then through FP and here is my gallery http://www.rpghideout.net/gallery/albums.php
