I keep getting the 500 Internal Server error. I looked through the FAQ's and it gave me some ideas. As I tried them though, I realized that I can't upload a .htaccess file to my server for some reason, it just never shows up there. I have a support ticket in for them to respond to, but I haven't received a response yet. Has anyone had a similar problem and gotten around it in some way? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your .htaccess probably magically disappears, right? :)

Check FAQ Gallery:c.19

ok, I've been there before, and I tried that much. I don't seem to have access to that file, as I can't find it anywhere on my ftp server. I checked root and all the folders like etc, public_html and so on. So it says delete the .htaccess file. so I did that and still the same error. where do I go from here? I took the time to read through the rest of the faq's so I look like less of a moron from now on. ;-)

vgullotta, hehe :)

You are supposed to delete the .htaccess in the setup/ dir - did you try that? It's there, probably just hidden from view in you ftp client.
