I was wondering if there was or there could be a possible add-on to the gallery. Something that allows users who access the gallery to know which album has new pictures that have been uploaded or new comments posted. It would be a great help.

So im guessing that no one knows about showing what albums have had a new picture added or new comment???

Patience please! We're all volunteers here, maybe the person with the answer just hasn't seen your question yet.

Have you tried using the Search function - a few months back someone posted a hack/mod for showing an image beside new photos.

As well, the newest version of Gallery does have the ability to show the date of the most recent comments - what version are you running?

New comments can be identified in 1.4.1 by the feature that each album can be configured to display the time of the last comment.

There is a new photos customization in this forum. Have you searched for it?

The above mentioned thread still uses an older version of gallery. I dont know what to recode in the new version since I have very little knowledge about php. If someone can figure it out that would be great!
