I am using the everybody can add photos option on my site because I do not want my users to have to go through a login panel to upload images. However there does not seem to be a way to allow them to attach a description (caption) with their photos when they upload???? I looked to see if there was an option in permissions that would allow them to do after uploading.....there is an option where I could allow them to "change album text" however this gives them too broad capabilities (change album description, etc). I find it hard to beleive this program does not have ability to allow users to attach a caption with their photos when they upload!!!???? Am I missing something somewhere? |

Nope, there's no feature to set the caption when you upload the image.
Any of the umpteen thousand people who have the source code could
write that feature, though.

I posted the new patch on the customization section of the forums a while back, and I also added it to the User guide. Has been working flawlessly for me for a while now. My script also alows entry of emails and web addresses (both of which get automagically hotlinked if entered), Also a spot for their name. All of which gets attached to the caption.

Just the feature I wanted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks
Now if I could just get a mod to limit file size my users can upload...this product would be golden!!!! I can't have people uploading any size file they feel like!!!!!
