Gallery works - but Postnuke is "broken"

My sincerest apologies if this has already been answered elsewhere. I have searched the forums and was unable to find an issue quite like mine. I upgraded from 1.3.3 to 1.4.1. Following the Upgrade instructions, I made my backup, unsecured my site, then I uploaded the files via FTP. I noticed that several files did not overwrite - so I preemptively followed the upgrade instructions, and deleted all files, except the albums directory and config.php file and uploaded from scratch. I ran the configuration wizzard - solved the "temp" directory issue that i had to recreate after the delete (permissions) - and came to the summary page that showed no errors. I resecured my configuration and pulled up my gallery: http://www.robitzsch.com/portal/modules/gallery/ so far so good... So I pull up my Postnuke site, and get the following page: http://www.robitzsch.com/portal/index.php?newlang=eng telling me that my "Gallery needs Reconfiguration" (Your Gallery settings were configured with an older version of Gallery, and are out of date. Please re-run the Configuration Wizard!) Somewhat stumped - I redid my steps: unsecrued the site, reran the wizzard, resecured the site - same issue. To add: I use the random image block on my page. could this be causing the problem? Has anyone else had this issue? Right now I cannot even access any administrative pages on my site so unload the gallery block and readd. I am pretty much at a loss here. Any suggestions? please disregard - it was in fact the random image block, Via ftp I renamed the block file and was able to regain access to the site....
