I love this gallery! :P It does almost everything I need it to do, but the most critical thing I need is to be able to search on multiple terms or keywords. Is there anything planned to address this in the near future?

Not in the immediate future, but it is in our longterm plans.
There *is* a patch available from our Patch page (link from sf.net/projects/gallery) which allows basic boolean word searching... though it's very primitive.

We're probably going to focus on making Gallery 2's searching better, and maybe write off v1.x.

Having trouble applying the patch. I've done what the documentation says. I get an error message.. 4 out of 5 hunks failed -- saving rejects to search.php.rej

Reading the documentation it says that if the patch is for a differnet version you may have to patch it manually.

I've looked over the patch, I must confess, it confused the hell out of me. I need some guidence.

BTW I am using 1.4.1

The patch was created with a version of Gallery before 1.4.1. You'll have to contact the maintainer for more information.

what's the "adv_search.php" do? It seems to give you advanced search options, however it doesnt allow you to input any keywords. nor is there any visible interface for it in gallery page. .had to type in gallery/adv_search.php

can some enlighten me on this? thanks
