.htaccess how to find in ftp to do the chmod

HELP!!! ME!!!! trying to upgrage to the new version CAN NOT SEE the .htaccess in ftp to put it in the safe mode..I'am a web desinger and a host. Gallery in new to me and I need some help I have customers waiting on me. Infact could someone goto autoworldusa.com/invlist and help me fix this gallery. I was trying to upgrade to 1.4.1 and messed it up customer does not know yet PLEASE HELP ME!!!! Thanks, Hollis 678-878-8877 ----

you will have to readup on the FTP client you are using to show . files, all clients are diferent. SmartFTP client shows hidden files by default I believe.
