Installation on free host Lycos Tripod... error message

I think that I have installed everything right (I followed the readme file), but I get this error message:

Gallery needs Reconfiguration

Your Gallery configuration was created using the config wizard from an older version of Gallery. It is out of date. Please re-run the configuration wizard! In a shell do this:

Unix with shell access
% cd /path/to/your/gallery
% sh ./configure.sh

Unix with FTP access
ftp> chmod 777 .htaccess
ftp> chmod 777 config.php
ftp> chmod 755 setup

Windows
C:> cd pathtoyourgallery
C:> configure.bat

Then launch the configuration wizard. If you experience problems, you might find the solution in the README or in the FAQ. If not, you can ask for help on the Gallery Users Mailing List.

First I have crated the 2 required filed in the gallery folder (config.php and .htaccess). Then I changed the chmod of these 2 files to 777 (I am using WS FTP)... here comes the first problem: in the readme file is mentioned that I have to change the chmod of the setup folder to 755, but I only can choose between 777, 766, 744 or 700????

What can I do? Also when I want to start the configuration wizzard, this message appears:

Please contact the server administrator,

and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

Might it be possible that Lysos Tripod doesnt support GALLERY? So please help me!!!!!!!!!!! :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:

It probably won't work. It seems your server has a bunch of functions disabled for security reasons :sad:
