Gallery works with Apache 2/Latest PHP Snapshot

Gallery 1.x does work with no modifications with the latest Apache 2.0 release and the latest snapshot of the stable PHP branch (I assume it works with the devel branch too, but I'm too scared to download that one). You can get them at <!-- BBCode Start --><A HREF="http://snaps.php.net/" TARGET="_blank">here</A><!-- BBCode End -->. You might want to add a little blurb about it on the install page. For people who absolutely have to use Apache 2, the latest PHP stable snapshot works fine with it.
