Error: Missing value: locale_alias[en_US]! in Gallery 1.4.1

Hi guys,

Trying to upgrade from 1.3.3 to 1.4.1 and getting the error message above. I did a search for it on the discussion boards and saw that it was a problem with FreeBSD.

However the fix was to upgrade to 1.4.1 which is what I'm trying to do. (downloaded zip file from website yesterday) Also the OS that my webserver is on is SunOS not FreeBSD.

I've left the gallery in configuration mode if anyone wants to go in and have a closer look at the PHP diagnostics.

Heres the snippet from the final configuration screen.

$gallery->app->dateTimeString = "%c";
Error: Missing value: locale_alias[en_US]!
$gallery->app->emailOn = "no";

Any help would be much appreciated ...

Give us your Gallery/webserver information to get a faster answer.
Get this information from the PHP diagnostic (in the configuration wizard).

Hi irlchrusty,

i looked at the code and i think its a problem that we dont catch SunOS.
To test a little i would like you to ask if i could get access to your server ?
Via FTP or SSh. Because i dont have any SunOS System for testing.

I will not touch anything of your things and do everything in a separate folder.
