.htacess not recognized in gallery folder, please help

Hello, I have uploaded .htaccess several times. The first page of the configuration recognizes the hidden file, but the last place shows the following error: "Error: You must create empty file .htaccess and chmod it 777 before proceeding. See documentation for more details" Do you know what the problem may be? Thanks, TJ.

Did you chmod it? Check out FAQ Gallery:c.19 :)
