Hello!

I have compeleted the hack project but there's more coming, mostly the features you dont see is in beta stage, not finished.

However, you can grab this gallery hack I made, it is a basic, but once the full project is released, it will be the best!

This is for people who want to host gallery community ONLY not just for yourself. I am going to tell you what I had added to the gallery:

TESTED & COMPLETED:

1) I have create a Album folder with .htaccess empty file and it is required to complete the setup process and also CHMOD the directory to 777.

2) I have create a temp folder with .htaccess empty file and it is required to complete the setup process and also CHMOD the directory to 777.

3) I have added NETPBM and JHEAD in the netpbm directory for your convenice, you will need to CHMOD all these files in it to 777.

4) I have added "Color pallete add on for your properties box" feature which will allows you to show color pallete and inserts the correct names for easier setup of colors in your gallery when editing apperances.

5) I have added the Gallery Sorting Tweak in save_photos.php to setting a default sort order of your choice so you don't have to sort all the time.

6) I have added "Refer a Friend" popup feature. The addon codes has been added in all files in html_warp. You will also need to edit mailto.php to your confurgations to meet your needs. The mailto.php has nice layout using .css file, it will match the exisitng site, more professional.

7) I have added "Clean up script" allows you to delete old albums while changing it's permissions makes it easier for you to touch all albums files.

:cool: I have added some files, which they are: register_account.php and regok.php ... This feature will allows self-register for your gallery, you will need to make some changes in HTML layout to your own design to match your design. Do not bother the codes inside, only the HTML code as well.

9) Block Random Block - This feature will work somehow BUT this will work stand-alone only, if you want to get it work with phpnuke, postnuke or other applications, please check gallery addon script page for more information.
How I can use this code on any webpage I want? Place this PHP code on any page for PHP only:

The block-random.php file is in the gallery directory, it is updated and fixed.

10) No Right Click - This is a nice addon tool that will disable the users from trying to click the right click on the mouse (ie: saving the pictures on your hard drive)

11) IE Image Toolbar Disabled - Other nice hack that will disable the small toolbar when you try put the mouse pointer on the image, it usually shows save, print, zoome, etc. This is disabled, other nice protection of your photos.

12) I have added "Alerting the upper middle nav bar (the 123 page counter) so you dont have to worry about it.

13) I have added a new addon that Gallery will only allow GIF, JPG and JPEG and disable movies formats such as .avi, .mov, .ram, .png etc. Giving your gallery secure and trouble free.

BETA &amp; NON-COMPLETED:

14) Admin Manager - allows you to disable accounts even it will send a email telling why it is being disabled.

15) Member's Profile - they can view your name, email address, all album listings with url on each of them so you will know what thier albums are

16) Auto Register Manager - it allows admin to turn on/off the register system. if the feature is off, it will not allow to register.

17) Image Popup Manager - allows you to either only image popup in a special frame in new window or full web browser or no popup or full image feature

I guess that is all for now, however the beta features is not in our website as yet, it is on other private server while it is being developed, bugged, etc. Once it is 100% working, we will release it.

Why is there no mention of the fact that you utilized GALLERY to set up your site? You talk about your hack being the BEST...hello?? Wasn't it created with features other people created and posted here on these forums?

I might be reading this all wrong, but you have used the knowledge, time and goodwill of everyone here to build your "Gallery Community Hack", and yet in your FAQ there is no mention of Gallery or this website. Seems very wrong to me.

Personally, I think you need to acknowledge the assistance you've received here, as well as the fact that the basic program you are running was created by someone other than yourself.

Your thoughts?

Again, all the features I have been adding will be credited on the "Credit's Page" so they wont be ripped off.

The FAQ you saw is old, the FAQ will be moved to the new "Support" center that will have all information, and it will have all answers about this.

Again, please do not take me to a different directions, I know what I am talking about, if you do not know or whatever, please take this somewhere else.

You just dont get it, REPEATLY, I said I have added some cool addons that is not ready however they will be released when the bugs is being fixed, DUH!
