Snailsource gallery mod and Gallery 1.4.3RC2 compatible?

I just finished updating my forum from 2.0.6 to 2.0.8. Now I want to update gallery to the latest version. I have the original phpbb2 gallery snailsource mod v1.4.3 that I used with Gallery 1.3.4pl1. Now I want to update to Gallery 1.4.3RC2, but I'm not sure where to start. What do I need to download, and does any of the phpbb coding change or will the original mod still work properly with the newest version of Gallery? I don't understand if Gallery 1.4.3RC2 pulley supports phpbb2 the way the snailsource mod does.
