I would like to use images watermarked by a program call ImageSafe. This take a jpg and turns it in to two files, an HTML and jar. This watermarks the image and proctecs it from D/L / right click and so on.
Why not use a graphics package such as Photo Draw or Photo Shop? Add text over the image and set the transparancy. Then you can save the image as a simple .jpg.

That does not block the image from being saved in the cache of the user viewing the file. Also I have the protection of an animated GIF runnin gover the top of the image to protect from print screen plus you can not right click on to copy.
