PostNuke is not the best solution anymore

I know this may not be a popular suggestion but the postnuke installation on this server is definitely ailing.

Given that most of the information on here is fairly static it would seem to be a smarter move to reduce the number of on-the-fly generated pages and think seriously about installing phpBB2 instead of the 1.4 verison that is rather dated and lacking in functionality.

Just my 2penneth worth but the more users that start accessing the forum, the slower things will crawl and subsequently usability will be reduced considerably.

I have to say that the interface of the forums is just a little unwieldy and slow (no link to user.php either)

my 2 p

still - the main thing is that we have a better way of threading gallery discussions now which is the main thing!

That'd just triple the support requests I get... I'm happy for it to be left in the sidelines for a while longer yet :wink:

I agree that gallery need to upgrade this to phpbb2.x release, don't be one of the victim see it here ..

There is nothing for PostNuke. Most of my client wants postnuke than phpnuke .. though I support both of them..
